Hardwiring (Mirror or Fuse Box)

Whats the pro's/cons for hardwiring into the mirror verses the fuse box?

Some say don't hardwire into the mirror. Why? BTW, I bought a Z mount that clips under the mirror for my V-1.

What was the others' reasoning for not hardwiring into mirror?
