I am shopping around for the good alarm for my z.... here are my choices..... none come with start remote thing..... I dont need it anyway.... 'cause my car is stick...... anyway.... the Clifford and Viper 690xv..... they are about 450.00 including installation.... any of you guys know what are the big different between these two ? I need some opion plssssssssssss.... thanks

 

I dont think there is a difference...they are both made by the same Company...Directed Electronics..I just got the Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5 2-Way Security and Remote Start System with Responder Technology...pretty nice, the only thing I have to watch out for is leaving it in gear...

 

i have Clifford and happy with it. They are both from same parent company now.

I have the Viper 690XV with (4) sirens, two piezo's inside, (2) outside, backup battery. Of course comes with the brain, 2-way remote and everything associated with it.

I am selling mine since I sold all my aftermarket stereo stuff after selling my coupe.
