IR mini cameras..
I was thinking of placing one up front and wondering do the leds that surround IR cameras put out light (light up) or is it Infa red light we can't physically see? Thought it would be neat to see cops hiding behind trees etc.. b/c of their cars putting off heat..
Just a thought..

I own a night vision scope. It has an option to turn on a led that lights up your target. You do not see the light from the led with the naked eye. This LED light comes in handy if there is absolutely no light (no moon for example).
The scope does not pick up heat signatures. A car or animal would not look any brighter than anything else.

Heat vision scope. I have seen the kind that is like a little periscope thingy with an LCD screen in the handle. You could probably find a way to take it apart and hook it up to a larger LCD. That would be awesome!
