Default New HU

Sup guys, i just got a Z and the first thing im gonna do is slap in a new HU and a comp system. I have an old school (like 5-6 years old) pioneer HU right now and I have used alpine in the past. I've always liked pioneer's sleek design's as well as the LCD but I was wondering if those of you who have made recent purchases can comment on some different brands?
I just want something that looks "low key" but slick at the same time. Performance is always #1 for me so the LCD doesnt matter much.

I like my Kenwood Excelon x879. Has all the features you need and the cover rotates to hide the unit when the ignition is off.

eclipse definetly has some nice stuff, I looked into buying their Ti subs 5 years ago but they were too much for me. Where can i find a full selection of their product line ? I don't have flash so i prefer not to DL and use their main site.
Also, what numbers should i really be looking for if i want performance/sound?
I've been looking at rms/max power, freq response, signal/noise.
