350Z Alarm install help, was there a change in 2005?
So I was looking through the service manual to verify with all the online tech sheets they have for alarm wiring for my 350z. The problem is, a bunch of the wires that I need do not match up on the car. I was wondering if there was a major change in the 2005 models?
For example

That's what it shows in the service manual, you can see orientation of the plugs under the fuse box in the picture.
Here's what it looks like in MY car:

There are only 3 plugs, and the pins aren't the same. I can't match up the same pins for the door and trunk triggers, along with the trunk popper wire.
Also, I spent 45minutes looking for the hood sensor switch, and could not find it. I consulted the service manual and this is what it shows:

Looks like it's near the passanger headlight above the washer coolant right?
Not on my car! Nothing there!

Anyone have any ideas?

I would start with the tech sheets and ignore the service manual, especially if the service manual is not for your year.
Alarm installations are much more fun with no guidence anyway, grab a multi meter and just dive in!
