Is there any other cheaper method to drive a set of midbass drivers other than the Audio Control 4xs and using its 3 way crossovers? I dont know what else to use to filter out the highs and lows?

*read your sig*
what amp are you running?

What are you trying to do?

2 or 4 channel?

2 channels for 120-20,000 cycles

2 channels for 60-120 cycles

or

2 channels for a whole 3 way set up without a passive crossover?

You are limited to the audio control device.

Or you could sell your JL amp and buy a PG Xenon 100.4 which has a built in passive crossover
