enquiry for Subwoofer project
I live in Italy, sorry for my poor english. I am a recent 350z owner (here in italy it costs a huge 43.000 euros.....) and desperately need to upgrade my bose sound system. Nobody seems to sell a subwoofer enclosure here, so I have to build it from myself, the under the strut brace one, and I already own a 10' Subwoofer. Please can someone publish a quoted project in mdf, so that I don't waste time and money in trial and errors process.
Thank You

What subwoofer driver do you have? Do you have its T/S parameters ? see the manual for these (Theile Small ... things like Vas = ___ Qes = ___ Qts = ___ ... etc ..)
post those here and we can help you out.
Take care,
Jim

Thank you for your advice.
My woofer is an hertz hx 250d (Hertz is an high quality italian product).
http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/Doc/pdf_hx250d.pdf
It' s a really popular item here in Italy, and many people are happy with a 17 Liters (net) closed box (sorry for the metric unit of measure).
What I really need is a proven building plan for an under the strutbar subwoofer enclosure, with detailed measures (inches are OK!!!), angles etc.

Thank you Dannichols.
Luckily for me I live in Italy, Tuscany and to be exact in the beatiful Pisa (the leaning tower, you know....) where speed traps are not widely diffused (almost by now..) and I can enjoy some driving freedom. The bad is that gasoline is 1.25 euros (about 1,5 dollars ) a litre.........still a shock every time.
Here there are really few Z, and no one cares to sell nothing for my car, I had to order the dash kit to replace the bose head unit on Ebay from a shop of Tampa, FL, but shipping charges for such a big object like a subwoofer box are enormous (over 200$), so I have no choice...
If someone is willing to help, I will be really grateful.
