Default Pioneer AVIC-N2 Telephone search function ???

I noticed today that when doing a location search for a business, using the telephone #, the N2 doesn't always work 100%. It'll work for most numbers, but for example if I want 853-0005, after I type in the 3 0"s it automatically defaults to 0009 before I get to type in the 5. On some numbers, the last 2 digits are disabled (not highlighted blue) and it won't allow me to input any farther. It's not a real big problem, because if I type in the street address for these places in question, the destination comes up? It just seems strange because some of these biz numbers that don't show up have been around for many years. The unit/software seems to be working because like I said, many phone numbers do come up. Is this normal operation ? Or, does this require a call to the Pioneer customer service help desk ?

yep, totally normal. the n1 is the same way too. it has a limited amount of stored numbers and sometimes it's just not on the dvd's list.
