Speakers
I am about ready to purchase a 2003 Z and was wondering how many replaceable speakers there are and where they are located. Also which type of speaker is better a 2 way or a 3 way. I was considering Alpine, Audiobahn, Phoenix Gold, or Infinity. Are there any other brands better than those and which is the best out of those. Need suggestions

3 way is better but it requires more tweaking and you have to figure out a way to mount the 3rd component. I have a friend with a maxima who make a kick panel out of fiberglass. It sat next to the clutch pedal area for the woofer but makes driving more uncomfortable.

I recently called Crutchfield to see what 'fit' in the Z.
They only had replacement speakers for the rears; they didn't have anything that would fit in the doors...
Does any one know a good speaker that will fit in the doors without a lot of modification?

6.5's will fit in door with spacers http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=265-821 .
If you don't put spacers, the magnet will hit the window when you roll it down.
6.5's will also fit in rear, but are very difficult to install. You have to take entire rear panel out.
