Hello,
Well, I have been wanting to put a system in my new Z and I don't know where to start.
I am assuming I want to replace all the speakers w/ better ones and have them powered by an amp.
Install a custom under the strut fiberglass box w/ 2 tens.
Where is a good location for these amps?
Also, I was thinking about using the space where the navigation goes w/ somesort of TV, how well does that work out?
Any help w/ this is MUCH appreciated!!!

There are a lot of factors that need to be considered! First off, budget, type of music you like, how fancy you wanna get or do you prefer more stealth stereo system? Scroll through the audio forum to get some ideas and learn from others!
Few helpful hints, Ebay has a affordable under strut box for the Z for both one or two 10's, but they are not fiberglass, why do you want fiberglass?
Head unit, are you looking for DVD player, just CD's, Nav system? Research and read about different ones!
Speakers, check out what others are getting, check out different shops!
I like the magazine Performance Auto Sound, check it out!

are you getting all the components at the same time or are you building it piece by piece? Are you installing this yourself or getting it installed at a shop?
If you were to build this piece by piece i'd get the following items in the following order
1. Headunit
2. Front components
3. Rear Coaxials
4. If you think headunit is powering the speakers good enough go to #5 otherwise get a 4 channel amp to power your speakers
5. Amp + subs
Also a good idea would be to get some quality speaker wires and replace the tiny stock wiring with it if you are getting an amp for your speakers.
