Default Standard Radio/CD ?

How is the quality of the standard CD Radio on the non-Touring editions? I don't think I have really read any opinions on them. Just curious.

When I checked out cars at the dealership, I though it was fine. No better or worse than your typical factory system. Obviously less bass without the sub, but it's fine if your not a sound freak and hung up on that sort of thing. Personally, I'm in the car to drive; if I want to listen to studio quality music or share it with the rest of the block, I do it at home. I got the touring because I wanted the leather and a bit of upgrade in the sound (no blose comments, please) as well as the other luxury perks. Plus the in-dash changer is nice to have.

I have a Track model. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best stereo ever, I'd give this one a five. Nothing spectacular.

I'd like to upgrade the audio system if it could be easily and relatively inexpensively done. I'd want to do the mods myself to keep people from trashing my vehicle (something always happens).

The sound of the standard radio would not keep me from ordering the Track or other package beside the Touring if I had it to do again. After reading the forums, I wouldn't spend much money on a "factory upgrade" if it's offered next year, either.
