Default Alpine Type-X under rear strut

hey guys im about to order the alpine v12 amp and the alpine type x sub(10'')
and was wondering does it fit under the rear strut bar.... I know the type R does, but what about the type x?

Is the outer mounting ring of the sub alot larger than 10 inches? I know that JL Audio and other companies make stealth boxes that fit 2 ten-inch subs under the strut bar.

The sub will fit under the tower, just that the sub is too long and requires a decent size box. The type X is a monster of a sub.

I see what you mean. The mounting depth may be too deep for an "under the strut" application.

so do u think it will be flush from top to bottom???

and is there enough heigh for a sub like that
