I'm installing a new HU and have a couple questions about the wiring harness. Not the first time I've done this, just want to double check.
As I have the performance model with no installed amp (I have a basslink I'll be connecting by RCA). However, the harness and head-unit connector both have amp power and turn on. I'm going on the assumption that these do not have to be connected. Is this OK? Would it hurt anything to connect them?
Thanks for any help in advance

I would only use one or the other. I would take the headend's and route it as who know's to what Nissan connected the turn-on to. With your headend you "own" all the moving parts and that will keep it simplier.

I'll probably just leave them disconnected and see how everything goes. The amp/sub has auto-turn on when there is a signal to the sub so I'll leave it like that. Can't imagine hurting anything by NOT connecting it (other than a ground or something).
