I just bought my 350z 2 days ago and I am looking for what kind of alarm to put in my ride.

My biggest concern is that it's a Roadster and I don't want anyone cutting my top and taking my stuff.

Does anyone out there already have a pretty good alarm for their roadster?

I used to have a Viper paging one for my old Prelude and I had a Prestige paging one for my old Accord. They didn't transmit that far...

I was checking out the new AutoPage alarm... what do you guys think?

Viper 791 with proximity sensor and ensure you get the backup battery!

 

i had Viper too. I don't think you can avoid people cutting to your top if they really want to. Alarm will not help.

 

+1. Only a big nasty pitbull with a chain long enough to reach around the car would likely stop someone from cutting your top. But then there we would be a lot of other issues you would have...

 

Are you doing your own install, If so Try the Compustar 2w900FM With a DEI 508D Radar Sensor.

 

compustar.....1.25mi range....get it with two alram sirens, one for outside and one for the inside

 

just get a Viper/Python/Clifford 2-way pager alarm with radar sensor.

 

How much does the viper/compustar install cost ?
