Exclamation alpine d310 and 12" type-r in a roadster

Hey guys I had a very important question. I'm about to get my 04' sb roadster and I have a 12" alpine type-r sub from my previous car, and I wanna get the alpine d310 flip out head unit. I was gonna go with a pioneer d1, but i heard it was crap. Anyone have this head unit on a z and does anyone have a 12" sub in a roadster.

Anything is possible, but I will tell you this....12" into a roadster is going to need MAJOR custom work. It was already hard putting in a 10" into mine. Now, if you put it in the trunk, then it'll be easy...but...subs in the roadster's trunk just doesnt make sense to me. Good luck

A 12" would take up most of the trunk too.

I have 2 12" subs in my trunk...and 2 amps. As you would imagine, my trunk is non-existant now. Just put 'em in about a month ago. Doesn't look so great right now but it's a work in progress.

I don't wanna go the trunk path, and if I were to go the trunk path, it would be flush mounted in the floor of the trunk. You know, removing the spare tire and stuff. But I don't wanna remove my spare. I'm hoping that I can jam a 12 in the stock area. But my z is an enthusiast, so I don't have a precut hole. Let me know wut ya'll think.
