Speaker Question, Infinity 62.7i or 63.7i up front
I'm getting ready to upgrade the stock speakers with something else and am leaning towards the 62.7i's up front but wanted other's opinion. Is there any real advantage to the 63.7's (3 way vs. 2 way) over them to justify another $35? So far:
Kenwood KDC-x789 Head Unit
Infinity Basslink-X
Infinity 6002i in the rear
Thanks for the help,
Edit:
If anybody knows of another good speaker for the front for under $130 shipped please offer a reccomendation.

Kappa 62.7i two ways
2 ohms impedance
45-25,000 Hz frequency response
95 dB sensitivity
2" mounting depth
2-75 watts power range
Kappa 63.7i
2 ohms impedance
45-25,000 Hz frequency response
95 dB sensitivity
2" mounting depth
2-75 watts power range
Looks like a toss up. What do they sound like?
If you like the sound of Infinity speakers have a look at the Infinity Reference 6010cs as it should run in the same neighborhood as the Kappa 63.7i's. These components will allow you to mount the tweeters up higher out of the way of your feet.
I went with the Perfect 6.1's up front and really enjoy their sound so far. Nice tight and fairly deep base. These things will start the door shaking. I paid $210 for these guys, the 60.7cs are about $160, the 62.7i are about $83, the 63.7i are $106 a pair.

I had good service from these guys on my front speakers and my Infinity amplifiers. They did take a long time getting my subwoofers to me. They did sell them for nearly half the price that some others are selling them for. Good prices but it seems like a little ma & pa place as far as service is concerned.

when you guys look at speaker power ratings to try and figure out which amp best suits which speaker, do u take into account the tweeter power handling? So for example, if I have 70W RMS @2ohms to give a channel, should I look at 2ohm woofers w/power handling of 70W RMS, and disregar any specifics of the tweeter?
