I gotta weird speaker problem. I have the stock bose system in a 03 touring and I listen to my music loud with the the trebile and bass up and I thought I blew the drivers side door speaker bc it was very very low while listening to a cd but when I listen to the radio the speaker works perfectly. therefore I guess the speaker did not blow? can anyone tell me what my problem is?

 

a local shop said its a bad radio and they gotta send it out and get it repaired, I just purchased the car used from a dealership less then a month ago, should they cover it? what should my arguement to them be? I have a warranty there but its $100 surcharge and I rather not pay the $100, can anyone help me on what to say?

 

This is why you should buy from authorized dealers. My dealer wouldn't charge me anything. I blew a sub and got it replaced for free. Backed off on the bass after and he told me to crank it up again.

 

PROBLEM SOLVED! props to overZealous1 who suggested to try a laser head cleaner which cleans the eye or the cd player which reads the CDs, i guess my old dirty scratched cds caused the problem. $10 at radio shack for the cleaner and its working again! i also got some cleaner to clean my CDs so hopefully it wont happen again! again thanx to overZealous1 for saving me some cash
