Radio Reception Problem

I am having trouble getting FM radio reception with my AVIC-N2 navi system. I called the Pioneer support and they said all Nissan's have an "adaptive tuner" which is basically a second antenna in the rear window. I am a bit hesitant about this since I did not think that the Z has a window antenna. Does anyone know if the Z has an adaptive antenna or second antenna of any sort that I didn't plug in? Or has anyone had any radio reception problem with an aftermarket stereo in the Z?
