OK, I am looking for some opinions here. I am going to be occupying both "mail" slots behind the seats, and I am thinking of another place to possibly mount a single DIN DVD player. I have a double DIN deck in the dash, an Omni-fi behind the passenger seat, and am thinking of putting a DVD ROM navigation unit in the slot behind the driver's seat. That doesn't leave a spot for the DVD player, and the way I see it, if I am spending the money to put a monitor in the console for the nav, I figure I might as well get a DVD player too. Anyone know of or hear if it is possible to modify any of the available NAV DVD units so that they can play movies? I've heard of this being done to the stock GPS, but I'm not sure how.

Don't know if they can be modified, but you might want to look at the AVN or AVX series equipment at: www.eclipse-web.com Don't need NAV, but want DVD, so will be installing the AVX series on Friday hopefully.

I know what is OEM in the 2003 "Tour" center console, but what comes OEM in the 2003 "Enthusiast"? The "Tour" has a double DIN with 6CD HU, Radio and Cassette. I am replacing the entire unit with the Eclipse AVX2494. Sounds like you have already replaced your OEM stuff.
