I've gotta 04 z, with Bose and wish to install my Alpine IVA-D310. I've read every thread available in regards to bypassing the bose amp. I want to use the stock speakers, i know they're at 2 ohms. After reading other threads on this, some say just use a wiring harness and plug everything in and it'll work and some are saying i need a module, and some saying i gotta rewire the speakers. So which way should i do this?

Just use the wiring harness for nissans and bypass the amp?

I've gotta an 03 Z with Bose. The 6CD unit is on it's 4th replacement. Decided to go with something else. Went with Eclipse AVX2494. The installer, in addition to the AVX2494 and Double Din kit I ordered from Crutchfied (Used Trim Only) installed a "Harness" and "Premium 4ch Adjustable Line Output Converter" from: www.peripheralelectronics.com Speakers and amps were not changed. Bose no longer blows. The surround sound system in my home should sould this good.
