bose speaker problem
Can someone help me out, I have the bose system with 6 cd with the 10 inch sub behind the driver seat, and every so often the sub would pop and then shut off for a few seconds then slowly come back on and play normal.
What could all of a sudden cause this??

Sounds like you've got a loose connection.
There are seperate jacks on the headend inside the dash, and at the amplier's input, it's output, and finally at the speaker itself. I would pull the plastic panels out of the rear and check the amp's and speaker's inputs as you can hit three out of the four places that their might be a loose connection.
The plastic panels hide a plate that the subwoofer is mounted into. It takes like ten 10 mm bolts to pull that thing out and then you can get to the amplifier which is just to the centerline of the 10" speaker.

Since it's only the subwoofer you only need to check the subwoofer amplifier. It is in the same hole - actually it's mounted to a plate to just to the centerline from the woofer. Once you've checked those three connections I would give it a test prior to pulling the dashboard apart.
