Ok, i'm looking to put a lilliput touchsreen monitor into my car and hook it up to my laptop. My laptop only has 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600 resolution, if I use a lilliput will the resolution still be good ? My other question is i am going to be putting the monitor where the cd player usually goes has anyone else done this and will it fit with little modification ?

 

800x600 will be perfect for the 6.5". I have a xenarc I know can go to 1024, but if it's at that high of a resolution things are too small to see.
Haven't seen anyone with just a screen mounted there, but I'm sure it's possible with a little work. I was considering trying to fit an 8" screen right there with a little cutting and glassing.
