Default DVD Navigation disc v7.1

a friend of mine just bought the 06 Touring with Nav. I borrow his DVD disc and pop in my 05. It said disc error. I was trying to make copy of it but it is not even working with the orgininal disc. Any idea?

It might be different. I just went to the Zenrin website and for Infiniti cars there's a separate disc(ver 7.1) for the 06 M35/45 and then a disc for the other Infiniti's. No new update on the site for the Nissan cars.

Its a matter of money in the end. No sense in them making one disc for all their cars

That sucks, so the new Zs have an updated disk and us older Z owners cant even buy it?

The 2006's with NAV use a different series (7.xx) DvD disv that is not interchangable with previous year vehicles with NAV that use a 6.xx series DvD disc.

Current version for 2006 NAV vehicles is 7.1. The current version for all previous year vehicles is 6.4.
