Im adding LCD with internal tv tuner, and DVD/VCD/MP3 as we speak. Screen went in today, fm mod goes in tomorrow or sunday, and the DVD goes in as soon as it is delivered. As far as speakers or new Headunit, i dont think its necessary and i have the Bose. It sounds great and even my "audiophile" friend says that is sounds amazing for a hatchback sports car. His personal opinion was to cut down the size of the sub space, and poly fill the crap out of it but he wouldnt touch it until the speakers age and dont work as well anymore.

I'm working on mine right now. I've got the HU and front speakers in, waiting on the amp wiring and then I'm going to install all that. After that it's time to buy a new amp(s) and a sub.

HU: Nakamichi CD45z (going to upgrade to the CD700 later)
Front Speakers: Boston Pro 6.5s (probably going to upgrade to the Z6 References when my dealer gets his first set)
Amp: Right now a PPI Powerclass amp. Going to go to the xtant 603 (top of the list) or to an amp(s) from A/D/S, PPI, Phoenix Gold, McIntosh, Zapco, Boston (if they ever release them), or JL Audio.
Sub: Boston Pro 10 (might buy tomorrow because it's cold here and I'm bored )

Future Plans:
Nakamichi In-dash 6 disk changer in 2nd DIN.

I did my own XM install - using a dremel tool to cut through some of the nav pocket, and did all the wiring for the FM Modulator myself. I would say that the Z is a horrible pain-in-the-a$$ to do installation work on, but once you've done your own work you have a little more of a connection to the car. I bet I could do a deck in no time...

That being said, the doors are also horrible. Basically, Nissan built this car to be put together one way, and taking it apart takes a good deal of time, a lot of patience, and a willingness to pull at panels that you don't think are going to pull off because the damned tabs are very strong.

I'll have some pics from my XM install up as soon as I get them.
