Default Sub box under strut box

I need help with some pics of a sub box under the strut to hold 2 10" subs. Since shipping is so expensive to Sweden I thought I'd build my own box so if anyone can help me with some pics how to build them I would very much appreciate it. Thanks.

sweden! i love sweden! my volvo and DLS stuff...

there are plenty of pics, bu ti can give you a rough guide on how built one:

1. take a long wide piece of cardboard, enough to cover the entire opening of the arch, from the back (behind the seats), take a marker and mark out the opening shape onto the cardboard. take scissors and cut this marking out, fit it against the opening, trim and needed to get a good fit, rememvber to trim a little smaller to accomodate for thickness of covering material

2. transfer this shape onto a piece of 3/4" mdf board, cut it out, now you have your front plate

3. put the front board into position, then take a tape measure, measure out the box you can fit behind there, besure to get enough internal airspace for the requirement sof the two subs

4. cut on a table saw the pieces for hte box, and put the box together, remember you dont need a front plate becuase you aleady cut it out before

5. with the front plate still in place, put the box you built up to it, put to where you need to, and take a marker and trace out where the box is on the front plate

6. remove both pieces, using the markings you just made as a guide, secure the two pieces togehter with glue and nail gun (or screws if you are careful and predrill), get some caulk and caulk all the joints and seems inside the box, for hard to reach places, caulk the outisde seems liberally, wait till caulk dries..

7. drille a hole just large enough for speaker wires to apss through on the back, push speaker woires through, and then heavily caulk the hole, wait until dry to move. or you can drill and mout a wire plug plate, but i hate those cause they leak air...

cover the front plate with something, carpet, vinly etc...and youa re dojne

the back side, depends on how big the box is, but chances are to get proper air space for two 10s, it will stick out inthe back beyond the openeing of the arch...so...if you want to have a cleaner look, carpet the box as well...

I need something to handcuff the wife to during those "special" times we spend together in the Z.

Actually it helps get the thing out. I've got the Nissan trunk rug and that makes for an extra tight fit. The rug is easier to clean in case my Trunk Monkey 2000 Deluxe (c) has an accident back there.
