Default Sony 6-1/2" Speakers (XSV1630A)

well i just installed the sony xsv1630a ....gatta tell ya for less than 100 bux for all 4 speakers not bad. what a diference it made in the sound quality... crisp voice good mids and lows the highs are bit too high but no big deal.... instalation was a bit triky but got it done.... afterall the sound has improvd 100% even w/ the stok amp...
next week im goin after the subwofr.....

Koo.. i was gonna get them but i knew the highs were a lil too much so i went with polks i like them but i may switch to sonyafter i get a sub

can any1 out there tell me if i connected them up "safe"....

ill try to explain what i did as good as posible... i dont know the correct terms and what not...

ready? here i go..


ok i took off the stock speakers and noticed the plug in the back.. after scratching my head for about 10 mins on how the hell i was gonna do this i came up w/ a solution, and it was to take the stock plug frm the boss speaker and connect it to the new sony and then plug the plug to the stock plug... hell it worked...

anyways... was this a safe way of goin about it...?
