Speaker Baffles?
Does anyone have experience with speaker baffles for the midrange speakers up front. I made a spacer out of MDf to mount the speaker and it doesnt sit exactly flat against the door so just wondering if this is a good way to seal up the speaker:

I've used that exact brand on several installs and think they help the sound. I trimmed mine to match the speaker rim, wired and soldered connectors to the posts, then punched a small hole through the baffle for the wire lead, sealed that back up with super glue, and glued the baffle to the speaker rim for a "sealed" enclosure. It definitely gives slightly better low end response.
Note, I've never done it in my Z. These installed were in a Civic Si, and a Ranger, but the concept remains.

Those are a bad idea for our car, as they will stick too far back and interfere with the windows. So if a window motor goes (common problem on Zs) your dealer will tell you to go kick rocks
Go to Home Depot or any other improvemnts store. Pickup a bit of gasket tape, weather stripping or anything they have that is essentially sticky foam tape. This can usually be found in windows and doors sections.
Should be a $5 for a rolll that can do about 20 cars
