Interesting - new 06 alpine ipod interface?
My big complaint with the ipod integration into the HU's has been speed and limitation in play list search.
I just noticed that alpine has a new ipod interface that doesn't rely on a box at all - it's just a direct connection to the ipod through the dock interface. You still control the ipod through your HU as you would in the 05 models.
Has anyone used this yet? Does that mean that there's finally a head unit that can control the ipod with no size restrictions and as quickly as the ipod itself? (which the site claims). That would be very cool.
