what do I need
just a headunit? if you dont want to get new speakres and amps, then you need a wiring adapter for hte bose amp. you also need an external speaker somewhere wired into the nav voice output, if you want to go all out, you need to do some wiring changes so when the nav goes on, it activates the mute circuit on the HU just like stock, but just having a speaker somehwere wired into the voice output will usually do fine 
even in my car with nav i dont set the mute when the voice guidance comes on

well i have an alpine head unit i want to put in, and i have my system all wired up, all i needed was to put the RCAs in, but i didnt know what i needed to put them in, I mean i would like to keep the stock head unit and just have the sub i have in the trunk pumping but i dont know how id get any sound to the amp.
