We designed it so if someone wants to mount the tweeter on the pod they can, However it is also very smooth so the spot where the tweeter goes is smooth when not used. I would say Not all size tweeters will fit and some may need to be surface mounted.
They are a bit bigger then th e05 and down models. And they are a lot harder to Vinyl. There will be a special buy in on them. However Pricing will be slightly more. Vinyl Pods will definitely be more due to labor cost of Vinyling the pods.

I REALLY like the set-up. I would defiantely add tweeters . Would you need a lot of modification to fit an '05???
If you could tell us what would it take to get these panels in the first generation Zs, I bet you could get some additional business.
I would have to make a complete new mold which is not something I have planned. The first generation cars have a slightly different shape on the bottom of the door. All 06 pods do is accomodate for the useless cup holder and covers the cup holder.

I use the cupholders everyday for bottled water. they are not useless to me either and I am not willing to give them up.

these do look nice, and in my 06 i rarely use the cup holder, i was thinking since it has some back orange lighting in it, how creative can you be with some led lighting or something in that realm>?
