Default Watch Dvd Thru Navagation System/

Hello. I Try To View A Movie Dvd Thru My Factory Nissan Navagation System And It Does Not Work. Some People Say To Apply The Emergency Brake To Be Able To View But Still Does Not Work. Does Anyone Know What Do I Need To Do So I Can Be Able To Watch Dvd Movies Thru The Navagation System. Thank You For Your Input.

I think your navigation system is not a DVD play but rather a navigation system. It might help us if we knew who makes your headend or if it's the stock Bloze unit.

There are hardware modifications that can be made to the Bose.

The factory Nissan nav drive will never accept any A/V DVD. It is only a player for the included nav DVD. No mod will change that. You can, however, make the factory screen accept another video signal with an external box made by various manufacturers. In addition, you will need an external DVD player to play the DVD on.

Thank You For Your Information. Now I Understand Better Why It Didnot Work. If You Have Any Information On The Manufacture Of The External Box Let Me Know ... Thank You Again.

Any time!

Here's one of those screen input adapter manufacturers: http://www.tvandnav2go.com . I have been looking at their unit for using my factory nav screen to accept a signal from a back-up camera (will switch on when car is put in reverse) somewhere in the future. So just know that I haven't used their unit, and thus cannot vouch for its quality.
