the car did you a favor, go out and replace the HU yourself, trust me, you will never like the sound you get from the OEM. You'll be dissappointed if you use the warranty.
Take it back to the dealer and get it fixed since you entitled to have everything working in your car. Then go and buy yourself a new head unit and take that POS head unit out.
