Default got a problem with radio

i was about to install a jensen double din screen/dvd player. but before even messing with anything my oem radio stopped working. checked all fuses and everything seems to be fine. I already have everything ready to hook up my new head unit . all wires connected to harness and all. after i messed with the oem radio i said to myself maybe its the radio thats focked up. so i proceed to install the new headunit and before putting evrything back i check to see if it works. but it does the same thing.(can hear it has power but no display or anything ..can just hear the stero as if it is taking in a cd) does anyone have any ideas on what can be wrong???

Blown fuse.

Look for a 15A fuse number 37 located under the hood right next to the battery's positive post.

Then check the 15A fuse number 17 located in the fuse J/B box near the driver's left foot. Also check a third fuse number 6 also in that same fuse box.

It's going to take me more work to dig out the schematics then it is you for you to stick your head under the hood. Give it a shot and if you can't figure out which of the three it is I can do more homework.

I had the same problem, took forever to find the right fuse. It ended up being like a dash fuse, definitly wasnt the radio fuse!

Congrats on the fix. Stupid fuses. Always seems to be the one you cant find!

Not too sure on the trim piece, other then getting it off of a different radio, but that would be a hard thing to buy off of someone!
