Getting rid of my rear speakers as they disrupt the front staging too bad... they are Infinity Perfect 6.1s if anyone is interested in buying them.

Anyway, I have Infinity Perfect 6.1 in the front and an Infinity Perfect 10.1d in the rear, running off a JL 300/4 and 500/1. I'm thinking I could downgrade a bit to a 3-channel amp and run 100rms to each front speaker and 400-500rms to the subwoofer (possibly upgrading to 10w6v2 soon). Any quality amps out there that have a configuration close to this?

 

there are plenty of 3 channels around, dpeneding on price point.

i can get you two levesl of DLS 3 channels

reference that does about real world 2x75 1 x 400 at 2ohms around 525 shipped

or the ultimate A5 whcih is what i run in my own car that does about 2x80ish and 1xalmost 800 watts at 1ohm or 1x600 watts at 2ohm. and costs about 625)

bioth of these amps are very built and have a lot of headroom (reserve power) in tap, and are extremely clean.

but if youa re looking to "downgrade" as you say, you are probably looking for a cheaper solution?

 

Try a 450/4. I had one in my coupe. I used the rear 75 watt channels to power the quarts up front and bridged the front channels (150 watts x2) to power my Perfect 10dvc. The front channels do have a low pass filter on it for the sub.

then get it for 500 bucks no worries...i can never match any online prices...just keep in mind there are a lotof fake DLS stuff on ebay and other online sites,a nd DLS wont warranty any item bought online, and they wont service any items bought online even if you are willing to pay

and if its a real shop offering it for 500 go for it immedaitely
