Default Homelink Problem

Hey Guys I Tried To Set My Homelink To Open/close The Garage Door But Its Just Not Working...and I Followed The Instructions Just Like The Manual Says But I Don't Know Why Its Not Working. Any Advice?

It's because your garage door unit has a "rolling code" system. You can't use the controller to program your homelink. You'll have to program the homelink directly from the garage door unit. There should be a toggle switch on the back of it. You'll have to hold it down with a broom stick and have someone else work the keypad on your homelink.
