need help unlocking the software that prevents me changing the cradle for my handsfree phone in the 350Z. it was fitted by the dealer on purchase and its made by THBury. nissan havent updated their compatible cradles for about 2 years and so i bought a compatible cradle made by THBury which fits perfectly into the base unit in the centre console. only thing is - nissan have put a software lock on the base so that unless the cradle is supplied by them it wont be recognised by the base.
hence, my plea to you all, do you know how or where i can remove the software lock from the base so that i may use the new cradle?
