Cool cruise control

There is no cruise-control in my base 2006 350Z, but I like to have it. Is there someone who knows if this is possible and how to handle?

There's been numerous threads on this but basically the answer is still no. Because of the "drive-by-wire" throttle control, you can't just add something to the car to make it work.

There was a thread by some guy who was attempting to (or did) install a mechanical device to the gas pedal. That's way too dangerous IMO.

The guy that was going to attach a cable to his accelerator pedal said he was starting the project and never post back, to date, I have never seen a successful CC install on a base.
