Speakers suggestions?
I've narrow it down to two choices.
Infinity KAPPA 63.5I
Sensitivity 90 dB
Frequency Response 45 - 22k Hz
RMS Power Range (Watts) 2-75
Peak Power Handling (Watts) 225
Design 3-way
Tweeter Design 1-1/8" EMIT
Tweeter Composition Metallic
Woofer Composition C.M.M.D.
Woofer Surround Hi-roll rubber
Impedance (Ohms) 4
Top-mount Depth (Inches) 2 3/16
Bottom-mount Depth (Inches) N/A
Cutout Diameter or Length (inches) 5 1/16
or
MB Quart DSD 216
Tweeter: ¾" (19mm) Titanium dome
Woofer: 6½" (160mm) Polypropylene Cone
Crossover: 12 dB/Octave @ 4500Hz
Impedance: 4 Ohms (nominal)
Freq. Response: 40Hz to 32,000Hz
Power Range: 50watts (rms.) to 120watts
Sensitivity: 85.5dB (1 watt, 1 meter)
Question is, which one is better?? (regardless of price)
Which ones sounds the best and has best range for all types of music?
Also, which amp would you suggest to power the speakers?

To make a choice some more info would be needed.
1. Where are these to be installed in the car?
2. If using a custom enclosure what kind? How big?
3. Need to know the driver specs to determine if they will acoustically fit in your desired location. Specs required are:
a: QMS
b. QTS
c. QES
d. Cms
e. Re
f. fs
g. Vas
Once all of the info is calculated a decision can be made.
Unfortunately many "automotive" speakers decline to give you the specs on their products and make their products as a "one size fits all". So choosing speakers without specs is like flipping a coin or putting your money in a slot machine. A shot in the dark at best.

Make sure that you take into consideration the location of the tweeter mount. The factory location will house a 3/4" tweet, which makes the MB's a little easier to install. If you go with anything larger, you will have to do some cutting in the stock pillar location.
I think Infinity's are nice for the price, but I do believe that both use a metal dome tweeter, according to your specs, so they will both be "bright". The MB's have a better reputation on the competition circuit, but I would listen to them both, then look at the mount options, then make your choice from there...
Just my $.02

Listen to each
I would listen to each one and get an opinion. I would also do a search on this site and make sure that someone else has been able to fit them in the car. I personally owned over $25,000 worth of car audio. I have owned seperates Boston, Infiniti, Quart, JL Audio, JBL, and probably a few more.
I really does come down to personal taste. Some people think the MB quart speakers are too bright, too tinty, etc. I just got my car back 2 days ago (was being worked on for 3 weeks) and I went with quart speakers again. I had considered bostons (was a toss up) but have always had good luck with quarts. But I do confess I do EQ the tweets down a fair bit.
Both are pretty good, I dont think you would go wrong with either ones.

thanks for the replies. The mb quarts tweet should fit in the stock pillar. The infinity's tweeters are on the speakers and not seperate like the MB. Seems like the Infinity's have a wider Frequency Response than the MB's.
Both speakers should fit, seen some peole here have them installed.
Any suggestions on Amps to power these speakers? If i go with the Infinity's I might get 2 sets to do the rears too. So need an amp that would power 4 of them.
