Okay, i just purchased a set of alpine Type-R 6.5 components and didn't realize they are 2-3/4" mounting depth. I know i have to use a spacer, but will these fit being that deep?

Also, anyone else using them? I wanted a decent quality speaker but didn't want to break the bank as this is bascially a track car that i drive to work everyday. Thanks.

 

You should be fine on depth. Type R mids sound great for the money. They hold a good amount of mid-bass, and the tweets sound smooth. I dont have them in mine, but I sale alot of them.
I got to here the alpine F1 3-way at the CES. They are unbelievable. You can almost fill the spit off the lead singer. Those puppys cost $3700.00. Yikes!
