Default Door Speakers

Hey whats up guys. I just blew my stock fronts on a 03. Im looking to replace them but I dont want to change the stock look of the door. Like ive seen some installs where the tweeter doesnt fit in the stock location so its coming out a bit. What should I get. Im running stock deck. I also want to add a subwoofer and amp to run it all is there a way I can do that with the stock deck? Trying to keep stock look . To many nasty thieves out there!!

I replaced everything and maintained a very stock look. If you look closely you'll see the 85 pounds worth of subwoofers and box under the hatch but the amplifiers and 6-disc CD player are completely hidden. When my navigation systems 6.5" screen retracts and I remove the detachable face plate that looks stock. The DVD player's screen is behind the cubby door. The black tweeters blend in with the black window wings.

You've likely only blown one of the two elements in your stock factory components rather than both so if you're really interested in retaining stock abilities just get a used speaker element from someone here.

just make a spacer bracket for your speaker so you can mount a nice set of component...

Crutchfield.com has an on-line "what fits" catalog. There are dozens and dozens of speakers that will fit without altering the outward appearance of the door skins and sound LOADS better. The quality of the front stock speakers isn't very good. If you want to leave your tweeters alone you could buy some coax speakers instead.

I had boston acoustics RC620 component set. Did not have to modify anything. the woofer and tweeter fits the factory locations just fine.
If you want good quality speakers at a reasonable price check out CDT audio. Not sure how their tweeters would mount in the stock location however.

Yeah, you can get a set of their component TR650CSi's for $189.99 retail, I'm sure they're cheaper online.

Nazar you still making those lower midbass door pods?

I am assuming your a dealer. I need replacement door speakers. JL adio preferred. Can a 6½ go in with out drama? Crutchfield says no.

Next, For the factory sub location behind the seat. And an amp to go with sub and regualr speakers. I already have monster cables from previous owner.

You're doing something wrong

Have a look at Woofersetc.com - I counted over 200 pairs of speakers for less than $250 last week. Crutchfield isn't the cheapest but they have dozens of pairs of speakers (at least) that will fit the doors and are under $600 a pair. Crutchfield does have excellent customer support.
