Default Inexpensive Radar Detector?

First off, yes I know I should go with a V1 or a passport 8500. Right now I just can't justify the price right this second.

I'm looking for an interim solution for sub $150, something I can get at a Mobile 1 or Best Buy in the next couple hours as I'm heading to Dallas soon.

Please don't flame me for asking about a cheep one, I KNOW that the V1 and 8500 are worth every penny, I just need a quick fix that I can "holiday" back to the supplier when I order a V1 in the future.

Thanks

Default Cobra

I use a Cobra Radar detector on my truck. It covers the most popular bands of Radar (X, Ka, VG2..et etc..). It has voice alerts. I think its performance is great.
More on the neat little voice alert.
I like it alot..especially when this scenario unfolds:
your crusing along, with someone who has never heard it...and all of a sudden you hear a womans voice go "CAREFUL, X ALERT"(This works especially well when yuor passenger is holding a beverage). Most people go..WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!(and subsequently spill whatever they are drinking).

A nifty litle piece for under 200 at my local COSTCO.

Definitely would not want my passenger spilling a drink in my Z!
