Default Last thing, components, please advise

Alright, I have bought 3 things, I will post pictures of everything once its done. Now I need components

1 JL 10w6v2 Sub
1 Pheonix Gold Octane R 8.01
1 Stealth Zenclosure

I have read and searched for about an hour but cant find exactly what I am looking for.

I need the best component speakers that will fit right into the slot without modification, even the tweeter.

I found a thread about this but some of the speakers posted seemed like you had to add a pod or something.

I am getting the Pheonix Gold Octane R 8.4 to run them, it will give me 70 w x 4 rms.

Which component speakers are most people happy with, good SQ, etc... Nothing too expensive, maybe around 80-150 for front components and 80 for the back. Please help, thank you.

For around 200 you can get some infinity component's (reference series) the tweeter will fit in the stock location, you will still need a 1" spacer for the doors, also I would recommend an amp like JL audio's e4300 or alpine's MRP-F250 for a little less (they have very clean power )

Alright, question about spacer. Do I just install the spacer and no additional work is needed, like a door pod? It simply fits in the door?

Also, how do you know if the component speakers will need a 1" spacer?

viper54,,

I think the only way to determine the spacer is go by what the mounting depth required by speaker...If I am not mistaking,,,it requires 1 1/4 from most speakers I have read about..I could be wrong,,,if so I do apologize...Please, some one help me out here if I am wrong...

PS. make sure you mount the speaker with the window all the way down so that there are no issues with the window hitting the speaker.

most speaker's will need the spacer because when you roll down your window it will hit the speaker, put the spacer on the door then put the speaker on the spacer your door panel will fit back and whala oem look. If you look in the How To section you will find everything you need.
