what kind of dash kit for avic d2?

Default what kind of dash kit for avic d2?

What up guys I am going to install my avic d2 and want to know which dash kit to get. i currently have the metra one in there holding my alping single din hu in place. tried searching but got a lot of threads with no specifics. and crutchfield keeps pointing me in the direction of the metra kit i have.


i don't know what to get.

I thought Metra's kit could go either single or double din...

I installed my double-din Alpine W-200 with the metra kit....My kit allowed either single or double din head-units.. If I remember correctly,,,I only used the double face plate (trim piece) in my 06 Z.... I used the OEM side mounting brackets. I could be wrong with the AVIC DD

hmmm ok I will double check that. I could have sworn the dd piece was split in th emiddle to simulate single din. that's for the feed back i will double check it.

The metra kit has both plates in one package, they are two separate pieces

You need to cut the little center plastic out od the DD trim
