One thing I have regretted since purchasing my Z was refusing the OEM GPS option. I always figured I would install an aftermarket system, but now that my car has been in a bad accident and never fixed properly, I don't want to put any more money into it. I do have a PSP however, and now that there are several GPS options for the PSP, I am thinking about hooking up a mount for the car. It could also be a neat way to watch videos while waiting in my car for whatever reason. Has anyone done this? I'd love to see some pictures. A search didn't bring up anything.

sounds like a good idea. If you do it post pics up i would like to see it. I just dismantled a portable dvd player my friend sold me for $40.00 and im in the process of putting it in my car.

 

I don't know that Sony is offering a GPS mapping solution, just GPS enabled games.

 

I'm currently installing a mount for my Archos AV700 (portable 7" DVR)...I have JVC's 6200 dvd player and will send the AV signal to the Archos unit when I want to watch movies. I bought an adjustable arm that will mount near the knee bolsters (it's similar to all of those Palm pilot car holders). I'll post pics up once I'm done with my install.
