Default Id3 ??

Is anyone familar with how this works? I'm assuming it's a "id" program for song titles and what not. Can anyone shed some light on why it would only work for some songs on my cd's? Do I need to burn them with a certain program?? And if so what is a good suggestion?

Thanks to anyone that can give me a hand with this.

ID3 tags are typically related to MP3s, though I think the other file types have picked them up as well over the years. If you use Windows XP, you can do a right-click, properties on each mp3 and on the Summary tab, if you click Advanced, you'll be able to set all the necessary info.

Conversely, if you just want to set them as you burn them, Nero, Windows Media Player, and most other applications allow you to change them dynamically within the application using similar steps as listed above. Hope that helps!

Edit: As for why it may not always work when you burn music CDs, ehhh... I dunno mang, I'd double check that you are setting the information correctly

alright.. I'll look into it a little bit. I have never renamed any of my mp3's so that may be why some dont work..
