Alarm and Turbo Timer? All in one?
Is there an alarm that has a built in turbo timer? I guess the "auto start" ones could be used that way. I thought I read somebody had their alarm set up as a TT.
Anyone?

Google is your friend too. I have a couple of Hornets - they're made by the manufacture of Viper IIRC.
The 564T for $220 on this site.

Thanks for the link to the Hornet.
My question was for somebody that had one, and if it actually worked well or was a waste of time...
Thanks for the Google suggestion, the reason I asked a question wasn't to be told to go read an eBay auction, but to talk to somebody that had one.

CompuStar 2way remote starters have the capability, in a manual tranny it doesnt require any additional wiring you simply activate it on the remote, on an automatic it needs to be wired to the e-brake and THEN you can activate it from your remote control.

The viper alarm has remote start and a turbo timer. before i take the keys out, i press 2 buttons and the car will idle for 2 minutes after i leave. the alarm stays armed so i don't have to hang around.

Get a Compustar alarm if you want a SAFE timer/remote start on a MT car.
Get a Viper or other brand if you don't mind your car launching into a brick wall when you accidentaly activate it.

I agree with him if you are one of those geniuses that leaves their car in gear after you have installed this device.
