Default Alpine IVA-W200 or Pioneer AVIC-Z1?

Alpine IVA-W200 or Pioneer AVIC-Z1?

I'm having a hard time deciding between the 2! They seem to do pretty much the same thing. I heard so many good things about the Z1, but the Alpine seems to have a better price.

What features am I looking for?
1. Navigation
2. Bluetooth
3. DVD
4. Mp3

What do you guys think?

or if you were smart you would just add the Alpine Blackbird with the docking station for half that and be able to use it in multiple cars.

Alpine

I would go with Alpine due to their ever expanding market and connectability. Alpine is the leader for a reason.

Alpine W-200 here,,but not that big on NAV,,,that's just me. From what I have seen and researched,,,the Z1 is the way to go if you must have NAV...Everything else, I would lean towards the Alpine...But, I do love both units...IMHO

with the exceptoin of the blue tooth which it blows baby chunks....what's with no caller id integration on the HU?....that was a major disapointment for me, but Alpine still rocks!!!!

if you are looking for nav all in one, there is no competition, Z1 forsure, alpine for you to add nav would be a LOT more cash than the Z1...i also find the Z1's nav a lot more intuitive...along with IMO a better reliabiltity record than the alpine units lately...

but alpine will get you slightly better SQ if tahts what you are looking for IMO
