Hey guys...im pretty new to car audio stuff so dont flame me. Anyways, i have a cousin thats an engineer at alpine and told me he can get me a blackbird for around 250. A portable nav at that price is sweet...so im wondering if the blackbird can only hook up to IVA-W200. Is it possible to set it up with alternative touch screen units?

 

Thats a good question to ask your cousin alpine engineer. Im an Alpine lover but am not sure about that. I have the iva-d310 unit and everything else.

 

Wait a few months , Apline is comming out with a double din that will hold the Black bird.

 

Alpine now offers the docking station for the blackbird which plugs into some of the new Alpine Headunits,,,allowing you total nav on your alpine screen. I have the Alpine W-200 and the docking kit connects right in...I asked for the blackbird and dock for Christmas...I am anxious to see how it looks....

If Santa thinks I have been good...LOL
