Its the 99-7402 There is a bracket just for dd and you just have to clip the middle, no big deal. The bracket with the pocket you dont even touch.

There is one bracket for the DD and one for Single the one for the DD has a bar in the middle incase you want 2 SD decks. If you done you cut out the center.

I have an 06 and running the Alpine W-200 doubledin. The metra kit I bought for the 06, I only used the doubledin trim piece. It was already a doubledin set up with no cutting. I think the metra kits for the earlier year cars, you had to snip the middle plastic piece in the middle.

When mounting the double din headunit....Again, I only used the DD trim piece from my metra kit...I used the factory mounting brackets from factory headunit, which attach to each side of your new headunit,,,then attach back to console, then attach console back to car...If you have any questions,,,please feel free to PM me. I can talk you through it. I think once you get it apart and look at it,,you will see what I am talking about (using the factory mounting brackets) I hope this helps,,good luck. Post pics of your install, like to see how it came out.

If you've got an 03-05, you could go to:
www.japanparts.com

E-mail them and ask them for:
Part Code 28074
Part Number *68105-CD000 Audio Finisher

Which is the Nissan Double DIN frame. More expensive and takes a little longer, but no problems with it matching the interior. Depends on how picky you are.

This is what it looks like:

Did you use the spacers when attaching the factory mounting brackets to the H/U? Also, with your metra kit did you have to clip the center from the trim piece?

Yea, i used the spacers and it fit perfect, also youdo have to clip that center piece. I need to back and shave a bit from the top cause the deck has a hard time opening, i have the 6800.

Thanks. I need to do some adjustments my self as I could not get the lower part of the console to seat back under the deck. All in all...not a bad install tho.
