Angry DVD player problem (8017) Please Help.

Hey I'm installing my new Kenwood 8017 DVD player... I am almost positive all the wires are connected correctly... However, I connected all the HU Grounding wires to the Parking BrakeSensor wire... then grounded the parking brake sensor wire.

I am able to open my navigation window and browse the town, but when trying to play a DVD I only get as far as the Title Menu.. then when I click to play the actual DVD this tiny little X that you can hardly see comes up in the corner for a second.

Is it the way I chose to ground everything? I completely disconnected the Parking brake sensor wire from the grounding bolt, and am able to do everything I just stated, so I'm assuming its my ground... whats your opinion?

Did you try to bypass the DVD saftey feature or did you wire it by the book??????

The saftey wire is suppose to attach to the parking brake ground...

I tapped into the saftey wire with my 2 grounds from my HU then grounded the end of the saftey wire to the Center dash location.. (under the center dash up by the front window glass).

By doing this I thought i was just grounding the 3 wires in one location
